MAILEG’s Ultimate Guide 2026
MAILEG SIZES
Maileg sizes can be a little confusing, can’t they? Which size of Maileg mouse should you choose? Which furniture for the castle, the Suitcasa House? Which furniture for the miniature dollhouse?
IMAGINATION OR PRECISION?
The beauty of Maileg is that, in theory, there is no right or wrong answer: founder Dorthe Mailil says that everything should depend on your imagination… But in reality, some pieces of furniture will only work in a larger miniature dollhouse, for example, while others will look too small in that large house and be much better suited to the castle. The dimensions are always listed on the product page, but who has time to get out a ruler and work out what goes where?! We’re busy mums too… and we certainly wouldn’t have time for that!
THE ULTIMATE GUIDE
So we’ve created a detailed guide for you, the most comprehensive you’ll find on the Web, explaining all the sizes in detail and dividing the furniture into practical collections - according to whether they are suitable only for the castle, only for the Suitcasa House… or, in some very useful cases, actually perfect for both! That way, there are no unpleasant surprises when you place your order: just furniture suited to the castle or the room of your choice.

MAILEG FURNITURE & ACCESSORIES
We believe that, besides mice and rabbits, many people are also devoted fans of Maileg furniture!
Many find these little pieces of furniture truly adorable - so adorable that they want to have them all! However, due to the wide variety of products and the different sizes, it can be difficult to collect them and match them to the different house sizes - the castle and the dollhouse.
So, let’s explain it in a simple and easy-to-understand way: divide the furniture into those that are suitable only for the castle, those that are suitable only for the miniature dollhouse, and finally, those that are perfect for both!
Keep reading to see both collections.

Some of the products you see in this selection are suitable for the Maileg miniature dollhouse, but don't worry: we always specify which ones. FURNITURE SUITABLE FOR THE MAILEG MINIATURE DOLLHOUSE
Maileg furniture... sometimes a little confusing when it comes to dimensions, right?! Unlike other dollhouses, Maileg’s miniature dollhouse is much larger and therefore requires appropriately sized furniture to look realistic. Maileg offers a wide selection of furniture, but some pieces are designed for the castle... and others for the miniature dollhouse. Most of the castle furniture is too small for the house, while the house furniture is too large for the castle! To avoid any confusion and make shopping easier, we have divided the two furniture collections: furniture suitable for the castle and furniture suitable for the miniature dollhouse. No chance of making a mistake! Everything on this page fits the miniature dollhouse perfectly... no measuring required, we have checked it all for you!

RABBIT MAILEG
Maileg Rabbits and Bunnies come in different sizes: from the smallest My and Micro sizes to the largest, size 5.
The difference between a Bunny and a Rabbit lies in their ears: Bunnies have floppy ears, while Rabbits have upright ears.
Maileg Rabbits are therefore always slightly larger than Bunnies, simply because of their ears.
Micro-sized Rabbits and Bunnies are about the same size as the big brother and sister mice, and can share their clothes and furniture.
“My” Rabbits, on the other hand, are comparable in size to the baby mice and use the same furniture.
Rabbits and Bunnies are available in Micro size and sizes 1 to 5. However, in “My” size, only Rabbits are available: there is no “My” size Bunny.
