Select a low spin speed if the rug has braids, fringes, or pompoms. Do not leave the wet rug in the washing machine, as the colors may run or bleed.
Tumble dry at low temperature. Avoid drying in the sun.
Don't worry if lint appears, as it consists of fiber residues produced when the cotton is cut. We recommend vacuuming regularly using a low-power setting and a long-pile attachment. Do not use a beater bar or any other rotating attachment that could damage the pile. We do not recommend using robot floor cleaners.
If you find long or loose threads, cut them with a pair of scissors. Do not pull on the threads.
